UC Berkeley • Class of 2027
I’m an undergrad at UC Berkeley. Outside of school I enjoy teaching gluten-free cooking, making art, rowing and making people curious about the world by speaking about my book. I look forward to broadening my perspective and education to learn new ways to ignite curiosity and empathy in myself, my peers, my community, and the world.
Since 2020, my partner and I have taught over 600 students ages 5-17 how to cook gluten-free recipes in their own kitchens with our online school gfchefs.com. We raised $7,177 for Celiac Community Fdtn, San Carlos Ed Fdtn & UCSF Children’s Hospital, and received positive press
In 2019 I helped lead my team to Youth Nationals and rowed bow-seat in our 4-woman boat. I’ve been nominated team captain 3 years in a row by my teammates and coaches. My fierce work ethic and commitment to my team has led to deep friendships and peace on the water.
I wrote and published Sharing The Luck, a 103 page book that tells the stories and shows my photos of children I met as our family traveled through 25 countries around the world. I wanted to help kids back at home learn about how kids are similar and different around the world.
Children learn and grow through nurturing adults who teach them kindness and trust, as well as through unfiltered play with other children. Two of my biggest values are honesty and integrity, and working and interacting with children has taught me that honesty is a crucial building block in achieving integrity.
ADHD is not a gender-specific disorder—however, American men are 69% more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than American women. This research paper presents leading factors in the significant underdiagnosis of ADHD in females and demonstrates how art, narrative and public education can assist in ameliorating this underdiagnosis.
I enjoy painting and sculpting, and exploring how new mediums can express ideas and emotions
